Community Projects for 2012-2015
The following are just a few of the projects on the table for the years 2012-2015.
Expand local public awareness that all the food we need is within 200 miles of Aiken, SC and how to get that food from the producer to the consumer,
Open and locally operate 5 community hydroponic production centers within the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).
Open and locally operate 4 licensed community kitchens within the CSRA to help both the producer and the consumer process their own food for home or retail use using abandoned restaurants,
Establish 5 bucket brigades within the CSRA (CSRA Urban Land Army) to provide at risk families supplemental seasonal vegetables they can produce in their own backyard, patio.
